Deepwater hires wind farm project director

Deepwater Wind announced this week that it has hired David Muse to be project director for the company’s proposed Block Island Farm.

Muse is an engineer from Texas with experience in the oil, gas and coal industries. He has international experience in planning, operating and maintaining capital projects ranging from $2 billion to $6.5 billion, according to a press release.

Muse will oversee Deepwater operations at Quonset Point, where the company has leased 117 acres to establish its regional manufacturing hub.

Muse spent 33 years with Mobil and ExxonMobil, where his duties included managing operations of oil refineries and onshore and offshore oil and gas projects in Dallas and Houston, Texas; in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Calgary, Canada; and in Peru, Norway and Nigeria. Read more…
